As this is supposed to be a prequel of sorts for the classic-while it takes great liberties with the plot and things like that-the ways important details of the beloved book fall into place are so interesting to see, I loved spotting each one. What I really enjoyed about this book is how everything is adding together to set up for Peter Pan. I couldn’t stop flipping the pages, wanting to know what would happen to them next, and if things could possibly turn out okay when everything seemed to be against them.

From Molly’s Starcatcher father to Captain Hook himself, each plays their role wonderfully (or sinister-ly, if referring to the pirate). I love this series so much, and I’m sad to see this trilogy end! Peter and the Secret of Rundoon is a fast-paced, wonderfully humorous, incredibly creative conclusion to a beautiful rendition of how Peter Pan could have come to exist.Īll of the characters in this book are wonderfully thought out and set into the plot.
